Adolescence is a transformative period marked by growth and self-discovery, but it also presents challenges related to mental and menstrual health, both of which are crucial to overall well-being. Many young people in Nigeria still lack access to reliable information and supportive resources for managing these aspects of their lives, often due to stigma and misinformation. DNF is committed to empowering adolescents through programs like the EMpower Foundation-funded Project on Adolescent Mental Health and Menstrual Health. This document shares our insights and serves as a comprehensive resource for adolescents (ages 10–19), parents, educators, and community leaders, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to promote good health, quality education, gender equality, and reduced inequalities.
